At Bill Arp Elementary School, the safety of our students and staff is our first priority. The following guidelines allow us to keep your student(s) safe.

Morning Information:

School doors open at 7:00 a.m.
Classroom Instruction begins at 7:40 a.m.
Students who are not in their classrooms at 7:40 a.m. are marked tardy.

Afternoon Information:

School dismissal begins at 2:10 p.m.
Students will not be allowed to be checked out after 1:30 p.m.

Half-Day Information:

The Douglas County School System will conduct half-days for students throughout the school year.  Information regarding these days will be sent home and is available on the Douglas County School System calendar. 

In the event of inclement weather or early dismissal, please tune into WSB TV or Radio and monitor social media and other direct communication with your student's teacher and the school.
