Bill Arp Elementary School First Lego League robotics teams meets every Thursday from 3:00-4:30.
This year, our Techinators and Thunderbots are tackling engineering challenges related to improving cities and living in clities. Our teams have focused on two different areas of city life. The Techinators team has been learning about green spaces in cities. The Thunderbots have been learning about repurposing buildings and have decided to use abandoned buildings for indoor play spaces for special needs kids.
The teams did very well at our West Georgia Regional competition and the Thunderbots team has advanced to the next level of competition. Our next competition will be at the Columbus Super-regional competition in January.
