Congratulations to our Lady Lions Flag Football team on their incredible achievement of being named the 2024 Area 5-Division 3 Region Champions! With a perfect 8-0 region record, they've not only secured the top seed in the playoffs but also earned their third consecutive Region Championship title! This is a testament to the entire team's hard work, talent, and leadership, under the guidance of head coach Kendra Pleasants, assistant coaches Darius Owens and Robert Hightower III.
The Lady Lions have repeatedly proven that they’re a force to be reckoned with, reaching the state championship game for three straight seasons. Now, with a slightly adjusted play style and renewed determination, they're aiming for a fourth appearance, ready to keep the legacy alive. Coach Pleasants’ pride in her team is clear: “We are enjoying the success one game at a time, being present in the moment.” What an inspiring mindset as they push forward.
