As a semifinalist, he has placed among the top 100of over 3,500 applicants, and is guaranteed to receive at least $1,000 from the National Beta Scholarship Program. He will also have the opportunity to vie for one of the top 5 awards ($20,000, $15,000, $10,000, $8,000, $6,000 or one of five $2,500) by completing phase 2 of the application process.
